I won, I won, I won

Hi Everyone-I had a really good time at the winter gathering yesterday and now that I've had a chance to rest, I can tell you all about it. Here I am finally getting that ear scratch I had been hoping for in my last post. It felt really good!! I spent some time getting to know everybody who came by to say hi and chatting with my fans.

Here I am watching some of the fun everyone is having. I was also eyeballing the race track and deciding on the best strategy to win the races. Then, a nice lady took me over to where all the dogs were lining up and I let all the other dogs know that I was ready to win and taking this challenge seriously. I was getting very excited too because of the squeakers going off, and then I did it. I ran against another grey and although they put up a good fight, they were no match for me. I won third fastest dog. I heard they clocked me at 30 mph! It was great, I won a box of milkbones. Can you believe it? Then I got to race against some other greys toward the end of the day and I didn't slow down once. When I got in the car, I had a lot of water and napped the whole way home. I was worn out. It was quite a day, thanks GPA!

xoxo,
-Max

  2. Hi, Lisa :-) I accidentally deleted my last comment. It's Shannon Schuerman from your neighborhood (Ramstone Way). We were SO proud of Max on Sunday! He is one Speedy Gonzales! Gorgeous little guy.

  3. Hi Shannon-thanks for the post! Max did great and i think he would have loved to have kept racing the rest of the day (in between naps of course). He is so sweet!
